Trip To Medan after 19 years

Look Mommy - I am ready to fly  to Daddy's hometown ;D

Dag dig dug banget trip kali ini. Selain drama pra holiday bulan lalu yg sempet bikin aku sakit maag parah (kambuh kl lg kepikiran sesuatu) akhirnya jadi juga hari yg ditunggu. Ini aku jadi agak ragu, sebenarnya kenapa sih mau ke MEdan banyak banget halangannya..

Nah the problems comes up, seminggu sebelum jalan malah suamiku tercinta pake sakit, itu kakiny ada luka yg cuma setitik kaya bekas nyamuk infeksi. Buru2 minggu aku bawa k dokter 24 jam dekat rumah, beuuh senin malah demam, ini si dokter kaga ngasi antibiotik.. alamaaakjaaang.. ALhasil itu dihari selasa mulai timbul rash sangat kecil, tapi aku udah ada bad feeling, something is really wrong..  Bener aja kan, itu di hari rabu dia demam, sampe hari kamis sore pun masih demam. Kamis pagi aku bawa deh huniku ini ke dokter ahli bedah (ini atas saran dr. Farica Kartawijaya-best friend of mine) dan We make the right decision.. 

I dont want to push him, jadi aku tanya masih mau jalan ke Medan ga? Jumat pagi sudah ga demam tapi rash mulai banyak, merah semua akhirnya dia bilang udah ga nyeri dan dia bisa jalan, jadi kita tetep jalan ke Medan.. Well, im not excited anymore krn kan Huniku sakit gmn aku bisa heppi kan?? 

Kita naik Tiara Taxi (macam silverbird) taxinya Mercedez Benz cukup buat 7 passenger luas yak? kena IDR 250,000 sampai terminal 3, mayan lah, drpd ambil dua taxi ribet juga kan? ketemuan disana tunggu2an..

Bayar airport tax ke Medan, IDR 40,000 per person. Nanti aku kasih deh budgeting ke Medan sama final costnya buat temen-temen yg planning holiday ke Medan(its a really bad city but the food is OK lah)..

Trip ini tuh udh plan 5 bulan lalu, karena kita dapat tiket promo dari Tiger Mandala airlines berangkat bayar IDR 400,000 and return for free alias IDR 0, lumayan kan? secara tahun 2007 aja aku ke Medan naik AA kena IDR 1,2jt-an. Tiger pesawatnya Ok ko, ga sempit amat, well sama bayar luggage sih kena total IDR 3,400,000 untuk ber-6 sekalian infant (baby aku 1th9bln).

Buat aku ke Medan ga terlalu penting sih,  tapi ini hadiah dari aku buat Huniku yg sejak SMP ga pernah pulang Sumatra, dia udah 19 tahun itungannya ga mengunjungi Medan dan sekitarnya.. 
Dia bisa ketemu Sii, Goi, Jii dan Ahun-i, ini panggilan bibi-bibi sesuai dengan urutan anak keberapa dikeluarga mertuaku (agak bingung ya, suami aku Chinese sedangkan aku orang Jawa asli hahaha jadi agak takes time buat ngapalin ini.. but im so much happy with this differences that united us )

Aku seneng banget karena semua bibi-bibi Eddy super baiknya.. 

I just wish He's happy despite dia masih sakit kaki-nya..

Experience Tiger Airways to Bangkok

My second visit to Bangkok, why? because of ticket promo from Tiger Airways.
last time I got ticket in tottaly IDR 2mio which I consider cheap, but with Tiger I got cheaper IDR 1,5mio. Actually since tiger bought Mandala Air from Indonesia, the price could have been cheaper during promo time. yesterday my friend got IDR 750,000 on departure and return for free. I mean IDR 0,- isnt amazing?? Just check their promo.

Last first visit, I visit Chatuchak market as you can see in my previous blog. I also visit Madamme TUssaud which I havent share here. I visit Siam Paragon Mall, Grand Palace and wat Arun. Thats all, since so lil time and so many things to do.

In my second visit of course I re-visit Chatuchak, who wouldnt go there twice? right?
A high fashion market with cheapy price! Then at night I visited Asiatique, patpong just for a glance sight,. I went to Damnoen Saduak floating market, and also Grand Palace area without entering, Wat Pho, Siam mall for lunch and the new Terminal One.

Will tell later about all of them!

My experience using tiger airways: the flight is OK, standar the same with Air Asia.
Tiger Airways very punctual, boarding time is very accordingly and flying time also on time.
I order food: lasagna which taste OK. the flight attendance rather old but its ok. The service is nice for the price and the luggage price is reasonable same as AirAsia.

Overall I have a good experience with tiger airlines so far, thats why i bought another ticket to Medan for October trip!

HUG is Important

Do you know any research that HUG is very important?

Hugging is very relieving and can cure stress and also give a very comforting feeling.

That is why baby when they are afraid of someting they will look their mom and hug them.

Me personally, loves hug everyone that I care and that I love especially when they are in trouble. Giving a hug in the right time is much better than words.

 It can thrully show that you care personally to the person.

 During my worst time, I also looking for a hug and I found the best place after it, when I hug my man, my husband who is my best partner in life.

Bangkok : Chatuchak Market

What a fascinating market!
Yes, I run to this city on Friday Night, so first day in Bangkok we just rest at the hotel. Got up at 6 am in the morning, we took a shower and prepare my baby Zac for the trip - extra tshirt, wet tissued and diaper prepared.

i-residence hotel got it all in location. We didn't have breakfeast at the hotel because its not in the package that we bought. Just outside i-residence in front of Seven-Eleven they have food stall who sells breakfast, rice and vegetables and meat for only 30 bath!! (IDR 9,000) less than 1 dollar. So we bought that everyday except for the last day we had breakfast at the hotel for 200 baht/2 person-Yes so cheap.

At 8 am we took BTS Chong Nonsi paid for 20 baht and went down in Silom then change into MRT depart to Kamphaen Pet paid for 45 baht (its long trip). Finally we arrive in Chatuchak market around 9 am in the morning, there not much stall who is opened and people were still empty and yes we like it.

I bought Orange Juice(so fresh), and start our trip. There are so many thai massage offer also. We tasted the delicious Ketan Mango (try it for sure its 80 baht). Then we also ate Phat Thai very fresh, the shrimp was at their best in Bangkok! Durian? My husband ate is and told that is the best durian he taste. Thai tea, coconut ice cream we tasted all the food their selling. Yummi, really yummi all the food in Chatuchak weekend market.

How long we spent in this market? ONE DAY, from 9 am till 4 pm (near closing time).
What did I bought: Cloths, tshirt, dress, a lots of wallet and rings, jewelry, shoes we bought a lot of things!

Visit Chatuchak weekend market only on Sat-Sunday, and you'll never regret!

Kuningan City experience - review

Yesterday went so nice to me. I like the sudden holiday because of the election that gave me a day off.

I planned to go out with my family, mama n mami (both of my moms) to the Kuningan City mall and enjoy the day. The planned was about to cancel when i found out that my baby is having a fever again, that I will tell later in another post cause i was so upset for CEFAT product. I will tell immediately to sanbe farma product safety.

Anyhow my baby is getting better at noon so my plan is on. I called to Silverbird and book Vellfire car so that could accomodate all my family members: Me, Mom, Mami, Ci leny, Gita. Karen me and Zach. yahoo its a bit expensive but we like to be in this car. It cost me 90rb from my home in Slipi to Kuningan City in Casablanca, well its traffic thou,, nice experience ;)

After that, we went to Lotter mart.. so great visit this place since I am a korean lover and they had all korean snacks and beverage. The shoping coridor is wide and what I loved is that the shoping cart they had a soft and cozy for my baby ;)

 

We finally stop shopping coz baby Z is having stomach problem yupp in the sudden time. He's happy thou already find and grab a toy to buy. I think zac love lotte mart since they had so many toys. Anyhow we strive continue to have meals in Oriental Kitchen in 3rd floor.

Oriental kitchen provide great taste meals, many kinds of shanghai lamians and noodle, the fried rice is amazing, and the dimsum is very worth to price! I guess another time i can have dimsum party here. I pay for only IDR 326.000 for whole family and we had share chinese tea, per tea- free flow we share for two. Isnt crazy? yeah the price is not so expensive.

After that, my family went home and I continue to have a time with my hubby alone. We went to Ace hardware in secon floor, and i looooooove ACE Hardware its like my own paradise.. hahaha to much. I grab room fragranse which im not regret to buy it. I also visit the body shop and grab something, take a chatime, grass jelly milk and went to the cinema. I dont like the Cinema, its Thursday and they cost me IDR 35,000 /each! thats crazy

Overal Kuningan City mall is quite small, quite but offer lots of entertaint. Not all the store has opened yet, but at least they had my favorite things: ACE hardware, Bodyshop, Chatime & Calais, the restorant, starbuck, outback steak and ALDO shoes shop. Worth to visit if its not about the traffic.
